InVesting in Style

Going grey.
Normally grey is a standard cold weather color for cold weather fabrics like grey flannel, wool and cashmere, but not this year.
For spring 2010 Grey, at least in its lightest hues is being seen in a new way and showing up in lots of warm weather fabrics like cotton, linen, georgette, silk and jersey. Pair grey with a muted bright (either a garment or accessory) and you've got the trend going on.
I always hate to put away my grey (a flattering color on most) as the weather warms up so I was jazzed by all the grey matter I have discovered shopping: tops like LnA cape tee-shirt, Rag and Bone camisole and a Juicy Couture grey bow tank. Cute clothing like: 7 For All Mankind mini and satin bustier dress by Just Cavalli.

Until I reach my diet goal however I will probably play it safe with something like a pair of Gravati 2-toned oxfords, Apepazza open toed gladiator booties or the Mad by Design grey croc tote that really caught my eye.
With a touch of grey,
Tracey, April 2010
